Carlos Sainz advanced to Q2 while teammate Alex Albon was eliminated in Q1 during Singapore Grand Prix qualifying, Williams Racing confirmed. The session followed a wet Sprint race in which Sainz finished 12th and Albon retired with a DNF.
The double setback leaves Williams with limited grid position heading into the Singapore Grand Prix.
