The BWT Alpine Formula One Team has launched a competition through its RISE+ digital fan platform offering one winner an exclusive driving experience at Bedford Autodrome, featuring four high-performance machines including a Formula 3000 single-seater, with the entry window closing July 5.
The prize, announced by the team through its official channels, gives the winner seat time in an Alpine A110 S, a Sodi GT5 kart, a Palmer JP-LM sports prototype and the PalmerSport Formula 3000 single-seater. The driving experience is scheduled for July 30, and international winners will receive return flights and two nights of hotel accommodation for themselves and a guest.
The headline attraction is the PalmerSport Formula 3000 single-seater, powered by a Cosworth 3.0-litre V6 engine. Alpine described it as “the closest most people will ever come to experiencing the thrill of driving a Grand Prix car.” The Palmer JP-LM sports prototype, also Cosworth-powered, accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, while the Alpine A110 S delivers 300 horsepower and a top speed of 171 mph. Sessions will run with no rev limits and expert instructors on hand to help participants improve technique and lap times.
Beyond the driving, the day will feature interactive activities including Formula 1 simulators and a pit stop challenge where attendees can test their teamwork in a tyre-change contest.
RISE+ launched last year as Alpine’s loyalty platform designed to bring fans closer to the team through behind-the-scenes content, competitions, games, discounts and unique experiences. Earlier this year, the platform’s Golden Ticket competition awarded two members the chance to spend a race weekend with the team at an F1 grand prix of their choice. Alpine called this latest prize “another once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
All entrants must hold a valid UK or international driving licence and have a minimum of 12 months of driving experience. The competition is open exclusively to RISE+ members.
