Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz completed 97 laps between them during Thursday practice in Baku, with Williams Racing using the session to evaluate an updated FW48 package on the streets of the Azerbaijan capital, the team confirmed.
The session gave Williams engineers valuable data on the upgraded car ahead of qualifying and race day, with both drivers contributing to the mileage accumulated on the dusty Baku street circuit.
